Jyoti Khandelwal, Congress won the Jaipur Mayor seat. She has defeated Suman Sharma, BJP candidate, Suman Sharma was a powerful leader of BJP. She was the Chairperson, Rajasthan of womens wing BJP.

However, BJP has succeed to make their board in Jaipur Corporation. BJP won 46 wards where as Congress is able to bag only 25 seats. Independent won 6 seats in Jaipur Municipal Corporation.

Congress have bagged all four Corporations Mayoral seats in Rajasthan. Other Corporations are Jodhpur, Kota and Bikaner.
